Fun for All Festival at Petersen Barn

This summer, the City of Eugene Recreation Services partnered with a variety of local organizations, including WACAI, to put on "Fun for All," a fun and engaging program designed to bring youth ages 0-17 in Eugene community together. Throughout the summer, partnering organizations showed movies, performed, and led many activities in 6 parks in Eugene. It's been a wonderful summer, but the fun isn't over yet and you haven't missed out! On Wednesday, August 23rd from 11am-4pm, Petersen Barn will host Fun for All's culminating event: the Fun for All Festival! Just like the other events in this program, the Festival is FREE and family-friendly!

Petersen Barn is a City of Eugene community center located in the Bethel neighborhood. Throughout the year, it hosts a variety of free or reduced-price classes and events for community members of all ages and physical abilities. Its nickname is 'Pete Barn' and it is located next to the beautiful 19-acre Petersen Park.

The all-day Fun for All Festival will include free games, crafts, water play, and other activities for kids of all ages. Food for Lane County will also provide a delicious lunch free of charge for youth up to 18 years of age from 12-1pm during the event.

WACAI will lead an interactive drum and dance demonstration during lunch, from 12:15-12:35.

Come out and enjoy our engaging and exciting demonstration and stick around after for the other great activities lined up as well!
