Guinean Culture at Oregon Country Fair

Every year around the time July rolls around the air just seems to be electric in anticipation for the magical weekend of the Oregon Country Fair! This year there are two opportunities to experience the joy and passion of  authentic West African culture at Fair in Xavanadu, the gorgeous new area that was formerly Craft's Lot. Join WACAI on Friday from 6-7 pm in the WorkIt Shop for an awesome African dance class lead by Alseny Yansane and be awed by Guinean cultural performance arts on Saturday from 4:45-5:30 pm on the beautiful and expansive Dance Pavilion Stage! You also can find us drumming and dancing around closing time by the Solutions booth near Fair's entrance that is marked by the big dragon structure on top.
